Douthitt is an experienced medical device executive with deep expertise in interventional devices and the pulmonology space. Over his career, he has led commercialization and development programs for novel interventional therapies, executed strategic partnerships and business development initiatives, and played a central role in multiple successful fundraising efforts to advance product pipelines and company growth.

Management involves airway stenting to improve airflow and relieve symptoms. If untreated, POs can lead to life-threatening respiratory failure. By leveraging the properties of amniotic membrane, the AMStent is designed to reduce complications including stent migration, mucus accumulation, and granuloma formation.
